    Description

    We are seeking an experienced engineer with a proven record of solving complex problems with limited information. As Apple's installed base of devices grows and the third-party software ecosystem thrives, the raw number of bug reports we receive about third-party software on Apple devices continues to increase. The triage pipeline for these reports continues to grow in complexity, so we need your help! Using data sources and machine learning models from across Apple, build tools that enable our team to increase our triage throughput and accuracy while ensuring we tackle the most impactful issues first.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent

    • Experience extracting relevant information from varied sources, linking together extracted data, and making recommendations.

    • Scripting programming skills in Python or Swift

    • Proficiency with iOS, macOS, or other operating systems such as UNIX/Linux

    • Proven record of cross-functional collaboration

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience using AI and ML models for data understanding and recommendation generation

    • Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail

    Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
