CAD Engineer - Circuit Simulation Methodology

ions that scale with accuracy and capacity challenges
• Supporting and enhancing the custom transistor level simulation flows and/or EM/IR flows
• Collaborating with various design groups (Physical-design and integration, Circuit-design / Power / Technology) to address their circuit verification requirements across different processes
• Partnering with design, CAD and EDA teams to identify flow deficiencies and deliver state of art solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing transistor level simulation flows and automations for improved accuracy and higher performance

Knowledge in EM/IR analysis tools, including their working principles and methods.

Familiar with custom design environment and flows, including schematic/layout design, simulation, extraction, and physical verification.

Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to root-cause technical challenges and communicate solutions for methodology advancement

Minimum Qualifications

Experience with custom design environment and transistor level circuit simulation

Knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Perl, C/C++
