    Position summary

The Camera Hardware Engineering group is responsible for all research, design, development, test and qualification of camera hardware for Apple products. Within the Camera Semiconductor Technologies team, you will be working with both local Grenoble and Cupertino teams to enable next generation sensing technologies.

    Description

    As an intern, you will: - Be involved in a development team working on next-generation laser and/or image sensor components. - Develop more effective software tools/applications to streamline or conduct data review for large-volume engineering and mass-production data. - Perform data analysis and correlation study for large-volume data by levering strong statistics data analysis skills and machine learning/data mining - Provide regular updates to internal multi-functional teams.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled in a Master's / PhD Degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering or related.

    • At the end of the internship, you must return to school to continue your education or the internship must be a requirement for you to graduate.

    • Strong programming/coding skills (Python)

    • Database and data acquisition knowledge

    • Strong data analysis skills and ML/data mining background

    • Strong written and verbal communication in English.

    • A curiosity to learn new things and take up new challenges.

    • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.

    • Passionate about collaborating within a multi-functional team environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Optoelectronic device (e.g. Lasers) knowledge

    • Analysis skills based on JMP
