    Position summary

    motivated and disciplined engineers/managers to work across layers on groundbreaking wireless technologies. You will be responsible for analyzing WiFi/BT functional, performance issues and driving architectural improvements for future Apple product lines with emphasis on improving the overall user experience in terms of performance. You will be working cross functionally with platform architecture, standardization, firmware/host development, system test and QA teams to drive the enhancement proposals from concept to commercialization. Development of advanced system evaluation and debugging capabilities are required on an as needed basis. As part of this team you will impact iPhone, iPad & Mac user experience worldwide.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Proven track record in leading or coordinating cross-functional teams and excellent inter-personal capabilities.

    • Strong understanding in one of WiFi, Bluetooth, Thread or related protocols

    • In-depth understanding and strong hands-on experience on 802.11/BT technologies and standards

    • Hands-on experience with python scripting for data analysis and visualization

    • Hands-on experience working with wireless sniffers and protocol analyzers to debug and root cause system level issues

    • Excellent analytical and debugging skills

    • Effective communication skills, particularly with technical content.

    • Highly organized, creative, self-motivated, and passionate about achieving results.

    • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • A successful track-record or demonstrated aptitude as a Software Engineering Manager.
