    Position summary

    display technologies on Macs, iPad and Apple TV. * Participate in driving advances to display technologies, power-management, Color Management, HDR and other key Panel technologies. * Partner with Internal teams including Display Silicon team and external vendor teams in developing architecture for next generation of display pipeline for Apple SOCs for Mac, iPad, Apple TV and other interesting products. * Lead and carry forward highly complex software and hardware debug efforts. * Implement user facing critical features, perform complex troubleshooting of problems and defect resolution.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Kernel-mode device-driver development and debugging experience

    • Development experience on MacOS X, Unix, Linux, Solaris, IRIX, or Windows

    • Excellent programming skills and knowledge of C/C++

    • Excellent software design, problem solving, and debugging skills

    • Experience with systems engineering or low-level hardware & firmware/ driver programming

    • Experience completing projects and delivering software to customers

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with firmware development, and hardware simulators

    • Experience implementing device drivers for display devices

    • HW bring up and debugging

    • HDR, Color Management, video formats, power management, backlight, or content- protection technologies

    Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
