Description
As an Etching Engineer, you will be responsible for developing high-tech processes, maintaining related equipment, advancing new technologies, and collaborating with multi-functional teams to drive innovation in advanced display development. - Work as an Asia-based Etching Process & Hardware Engineer and collaborate closely with the display supply chain to deliver high-tech process technology. - Work closely with the Apple cross-region teams and Apple industrial partners in Asia to develop the latest display devices to enable the best performance of products. - Achieve the product best performance by using the optimized manufacturing process for future products. - Demonstrate expertise in studying new materials, developing complex and challenging processes for novel products, and maintaining a clear vision for productivity verification. - Optimizing and improving existing TFT backplane processes for new Apple products.
Minimum Qualifications
MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or Applied Physics Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
Hands-on expertise in Dry or Wet Etching tools and processes, particularly in the fab such as flat-panel display or semiconductor fabs.
Proven development capabilities for Metal, Inorganic, or Organic dry etching processes, as well as Metal Oxide and Ag wet etching processes, including Implanter and RTP processes.
Proficiency in effective written and spoken English with strong interpersonal communication skills.
Experience in mass production (MP) or research and development (R&D), including Fab operations, Yield improvement, SOP documentation, and DOE design.
Strong background in R&D activities and a track record of contributing to advanced technology development.
