    Description

    The role involves leading cross-functional communication between Apple project teams and external vendors. Responsibilities include defining, tracking, and communicating plans with Engineering Management and Vendors, escalating issues as needed. The role requires streamlining and monitoring development processes, ensuring timely issue resolution, managing critical paths, and facilitating communication with status updates across all levels. Additionally, overseeing daily engineering build activities at the vendor's factory to meet program objectives is a key part of the role. Lead cross-functional communication between Apple project teams and external vendors. Define, track, and communicate plans with Engineering Management and Vendors, escalating issues as needed. Streamline and monitor development processes between Apple teams and external vendors. Ensure timely issue resolution and manage critical paths. Facilitate communication and provide status updates to all levels, from individual contributors to executive management. Oversee daily engineering build activities at the vendor's factory to meet program objectives.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BS degree prefer in mechanical or scientific major related. At least 6 years (minimum 4 years in engineering development or program management)

    • Has the vendor management and communication experience

    • Knowledge:

    • Product development life cycle (Proto build, EVT, DVT, etc.)

    • Skills:

    • Program management and engineering build schedule planning

    • Strong communication, hosting regular cross-functional team meetings

    • Technical risk assessment, status report writing, and review summaries

    • Problem analysis, status tracking, and attention to detail

    • Cross-cultural and multi-functional team collaboration

    • Willingness to Travel frequently or oversea.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Problem-solving methodologies (FACA, 5Y, fishbone)

    • General industrial manufacturing processes (Display TFT, SMT, die cutting, plastic injection molding, sheet metal stamping)

    • Failure analysis tools (SEM/EDX, FTIR)

    • New production line equipment/tester setup

    • Production line quality control
