Design and develop ATE board hardware (probecards, loadboards) in collaboration with external vendors
Lead schematic and layout reviews and validate mechanical drawings across the complete hardware scope, including probe-heads, test-sockets, probecards, and loadboards
Align with the broader hardware development team on test system constraints
Take full ownership of new hardware design projects, ensuring timely delivery from kick-off to completion
Track hardware schedules and report project status to stakeholders
Participate in bring-up and post-silicon validation of complex new silicon, driving product to mass production
Support the design, debug, and documentation of test hardware for Production, Characterization & Reliability in close coordination with Test Engineering
Evaluate new product hardware testability and implement innovative hardware test solutions for production environments
Coordinate hardware-related test activities with internal and external teams
Serve as the primary hardware expert and point of contact for all hardware-related questions from Test, Product, and Quality Engineering teams
Work with multi-functional teams across Apple and external vendors to support product development into mass production
Collaborate with peers to achieve efficient and aligned methodologies
Coordinate and oversee the incoming and outgoing inspection process for test equipment and engineering samples
Implement standardized hardware work procedures to ensure compliance with quality guidelines
Manage and oversee the shipment and inventory of wafers, devices, and ATE spare parts
Preferred Qualifications
Strong electronics background with knowledge of mixed-signal and analog silicon validation
Experience with PCB schematic development and layout techniques
In-depth knowledge of ATE systems, preferably Teradyne UFlex
Hands-on experience with prober, handler, and lab automation environments
Experience with design and/or validation of switching converters (Buck/Boost/Charger) and linear regulators (LDO)
Solid understanding of Analog & Power Management fundamentals, Design for Test and Manufacturing concepts
Good programming skills in at least one language (e.g. Python, C, C++, Perl)
Proven ability to manage multiple hardware projects simultaneously, including schedule tracking and stakeholder communication
Experience working in cross-functional teams, coordinating across engineering disciplines and external vendors to drive projects to completion
Minimum Qualifications
BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent technical training and industry experience
Team-oriented, self-driven work style with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English
