    Position summary

    Description

    Responsibilities include driving strategy, planning and execution of major product PR programs and initiatives, monitoring and analyzing developments in the news, and identifying and managing issues in a dynamic environment and continuous news cycle. Candidates should have strong media relations skills and the ability to craft product messaging and compelling media stories, create communications programs, manage launch events and drive momentum across key products and features. The PR Manager will collaborate and coordinate with Product Marketing and Engineering teams to develop PR programs, messaging and media stories. Candidates should have experience in emerging technology such as spatial computing and the ability to understand complex technology and translate it into compelling stories.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 8+ years experience in public relations, PR agency or corporate settings

    Preferred Qualifications

    • The ideal candidate will be ambitious with a real passion for technology and innovation

    • Strong PR experience in the areas of consumer technology, digital services/apps, developer storytelling are preferred

    • A self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong organizational skills, the ability to focus and simplify tasks while managing multiple projects and programs from start to finish

    • Works well under pressure, with proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects

    • Ability to quickly analyze media coverage and sentiment, see around corners and apply insights to the team's work

    • Effective collaborator who will work cross functionally across teams and geographies while demonstrating integrity at all times

    • Bachelor's degree

    Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
