    Position summary

    technology and processes to recover and reuse more materials from end-of-use devices. We are seeking an extraordinary Senior Engineering Program Manager for the Recycling Operations team. In this unique role is responsible for driving multi-discipline work including: Managing the Recycling Supply Chain across India, developing material recovery improvements within that supply chain, and upholding Apple's values. This role includes, but is not limited to: developing & driving recycling strategy, processes, management of recycling programs & vendors across the country, compliance, regulatory engagement related to environment, trade, and evaluations of new material recovery suppliers and technologies. This role requires a strong blend of operations experience, market & industry knowledge, technical, environmental, and trade regulation expertise.

    The Recycling Operations (Recycling Supply Chain Team) Senior Engineering Program Manager will partner with cross functional stakeholder groups to drive best-in-class recycling programs across India. We look forward to your effectively analysing and presenting data to enable optimal decisions on logistical, operational & material recovery strategies. This role covers the full spectrum of end-of-use programs for electronic materials. - Work with multiple multi-functional teams to develop requirements, drive implementation, and coordinate fixes for logistical/operational issues. Additional responsibilities include: - Design project implementation plans for recycling & material recovery developments and implement plans with cross functional teams. - Lead new process reviews and approve milestones and success criteria. - Coordinate program reviews and status updates on top issues to all levels of management. - Lead validation of partner alignment to local regulatory requirements around environment, EH&S, trade & waste shipment. - Specialty recycler development, qualification, piloting, and onboarding. - Perform audits of suppliers. - Ensure close inter-team coordination and end to end collaboration on work. - Overall responsibility to ensure all engineering and technical aspects of recycling programs are delivered on schedule. - Occasional travel is required (~40%).

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BE/B.Tech or Masters degree in industrial, chemical engineering, or environmental related field

    • 8+ years of program management experience in data centers, e-recycling, reverse logistics, or manufacturing.

    • Excellent presentation skills (Keynote desired)

    • Experience with India's import & export processes and waste regulations

    • Experience with environment, health and safety programs, management systems, auditing

    • Proficient at leading multiple efforts simultaneously in a global capability including working with international teams.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Advanced Project management skills (software, manufacturing a plus)
    • Experience in coordinating programs end to end
    • Understanding of operating systems; (iOS, MacOS, iPadOS)
    • Detailed knowledge and understanding of product development
    • Experience with extractive metallurgy and advanced material recovery techniques.
    • Negotiation and risk management skills
    • Exceptional ability with root cause analysis
    • Ability to work cross functionally with business partners and customers to solve problems and bring value
