    Description

    As a member of Apple's discovery team, you will personally be formulating and driving discovery strategy, both from a legal risk perspective and an operational one. You'll be working with a number of cross-functional teams and stakeholders across all product areas. The position requires a high degree of self-sufficiency, independent judgment and a operational-focused approach. Travel is possible. You will operate as part of a supportive and fun team of lawyers, legal specialists and support staff who work closely together to protect Apple's interests.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 8+ years of in-house, law firm or vendor discovery experience, including significant experience leading complex discovery management in litigations and investigations.

    • JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.

    • Strong technology interest and aptitude.

    • Excellent operational, communication, analytical, organization, and negotiation skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Meaningful in-house or equivalent experience and experience managing discovery in litigation and regulatory investigations in a corporate setting.

    • Ability to work independently and proactively to meet aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment, including managing and prioritizing deliverables with cross-functional teams.

    • Sound business judgment and ability to handle multiple wide-ranging matters, conflicting deadlines, while exploring new areas of expertise as business needs change.

    • Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues quickly and effectively in a positive and practical manner.

    • Interest in and ability to identify gaps, propose solutions, and take ownership of projects while balancing time, quality, cost, and risk.

    • Ability to foster and facilitate teamwork by cultivating relationships, collaborating, and effectively communicating with teammates and cross-functional partners in the pursuit of team goals; shares information and supports others.

    • Maintain high ethical standards both personally and professionally; shows integrity and fairness in dealings with others; is reliable and trustworthy.

    • Demonstrate sound judgment, discretion, and ability to properly handle confidential and sensitive information.

    Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $199,700 and $299,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
