    DESCRIPTION Our team focuses on the validation and building of automation, infrastructure, frameworks, services, and testing tools to support wireless testing across all Apple platforms. We are looking for someone with the curiosity to find bugs, a drive to validate and develop tools and automation with a strong passion for development and validation. Responsibilities - Experience in writing automated tests at various levels, including unit, API, UI (XCUI/Swift), and non-UI - Excellent troubleshooting skills and a commitment to quality - Designing and maintain robust automation, frameworks and infrastructure. - Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance their skills and career growth. - Create automated tests and improve test coverage geared towards ensuring the quality of our automated tooling - Drive teams to resolve issues, championing issues that you think will negatively impact our clients and the program

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

    • 10 + years as Software Development Engineer with demonstrated technical leadership experience.

    • 4+ years of designing and architecting tools and frameworks.

    • Strong expertise in investigating, debugging, and triaging complex issues independently and collaboratively

    • Solid understanding of automation workflows

    • Demonstrated experience with UI test development and SW validation

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with, designing and maintaining CI systems

    • Comfortable with rapid development release cycles and tight schedules

    • Understanding of generative AI and experience in using Gen AI for various applications

    • Thrive in a collaborative environment and excel at working with cross-functional teams

    • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

    • Demonstrated ability to lead projects

    Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,600 and $236,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
