Description
The Data Cloud team is building an analytics platform that creates invaluable insights to Apple's development teams and their leadership. You'll work on all aspects of the system including web applications, services, infrastructure as code, data modeling, documentation, and other tools. Work directly with customers to understand their requirements and develop solutions that prioritize usability, performance, maintainability, and security. In your role as a software engineer you will: * Create scalable web applications and services that enable other teams to be more productive with their data. * Design and implement data modeling and governance strategies in dbt and Snowflake. * Automate testing, data verification, and deployments. * Create tools, services, docs, and frameworks that can be leveraged by multiple teams to simplify data management. * Develop high-performance applications on AWS and internal Kubernetes cloud. * Champion the refinement and adoption of standards for internal open source initiatives. * Present technical designs and strategies to your team, customers, and leadership. Minimum Qualifications
2+ years experience building scalable web applications and cloud services.
Excellent programming skills in languages like Swift, TypeScript, and Python.
Proficient in SQL and web technologies.
Proven ability to improve team standards in operations and development, including CI/CD and automated testing.
Preferred Qualifications
BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or equivalent experience.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $204,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
