Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
7+ years of demonstrated experience in shipping scalable, maintainable, and testable backend systems
Expertise in Java and Spring
Extensive experience working with NoSQL data stores such as Cassandra and Solr
Experience with message or event driven architectures (such as Kafka)
Experience delivering high quality software at scale
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with a proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex systems
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with partner teams
Committed to encouraging an open and inclusive work environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience serving as a technical lead, and designing and building backend services for large scale systems while demonstrating the ability to articulate technical concepts
Familiarity with version control systems like Git, and CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins), and build tools (such as Gradle and Bazel)
Prioritizes unit, integration, and end-to-end tests as part of development

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
