You will ensure carrier requirements are accurately translated to internal teams, and be responsible for the investigation of carrier issues and partner closely with carrier personnel and our wireless development teams to drive resolution. You need to understand the market landscape and the network roadmaps, and drive new product and feature enablement. You will actively manage an incoming queue of technical items/issues coming either from the carriers or from internal teams. You will report project status, prioritize tasks and raise meaningful issues to cross-functional teams and management. You may be required to travel a few times per year for carrier meetings in region or team meetings in US.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years direct experience working with wireless carriers in region to enable cellular devices and services in Brazil and Latin America.
Proven experience enabling network cellular features and familiarity with current deployments across carrier networks, specially with wireless RATs and protocols such as eSIM, IMS, 5G, LTE, 3G, VoLTE, WiFi Calling.
Extensive proficiency and experience analyzing full stack logs, troubleshooting and enabling features related to 5G (NSA/SA), LTE, IMS (VoLTE, WiFi Calling).
Experience with 3GPP specification documents and dedicated application in live networks.
Knowledgeable in software engineering and release processes.
Experience in negotiating timing of issue resolution and feature enablement with carriers and internal partners.
Program/project management experience delivering complex technical projects.
Knowledge and meaningful experience with device certification process and requirements from wireless carriers.
Proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
Bachelor/Master Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
