ration with OS/middleware, connectivity (BT/Wi-Fi), audio, and HMI teams to deliver seamless projection experiences that meet OEM quality and Apple certification standards

Job Responsibilities:

• CarPlay Stack Integration o Integrate and configure CarPlay projection frameworks on infotainment platforms (QNX, Linux, Android Automotive).

• Preferred is Android Automotive o Enable and maintain wired (USB) and wireless (Wi-Fi + BT) CarPlay connectivity. o Adapt CarPlay frameworks to OEM-specific infotainment architectures (audio routing, HMI integration, networking).

• Development & Debugging o Debug CarPlay session management: pairing, authentication (MFi), connection handover (BT ↔ Wi-Fi). Analyze CarPlay logs, network traces, and system logs for issue resolution. Work with audio teams to ensure seamless CarPlay audio integration (music, telephony, Siri, navigation prompts). Resolve issues in projection performance: video latency, resolution scaling, bandwidth optimization.

• System Integration o Collaborate with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi engineers to ensure smooth CarPlay wireless operation. Integrate CarPlay with vehicle HMI (touchscreen, steering wheel switches, rotary controllers, voice). Support coexistence and interoperability with Android Auto and OEM projection solutions. Ensure compliance with infotainment system security and sandboxing requirements.

• Certification & OEM Support o Support Apple certification (MFi, CarPlay Certification) activities. Conduct pre-certification validation and resolve non-compliance issues. Assist OEMs during feature bring-up, vehicle-level testing, and field issue resolution. Work with Apple, chipset vendors (QUALCOMM) and suppliers for integration support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4-8 years Experience having Carplay Development & Projection Experience working in Carplay Development /Middleware and into wired and wireless stack/ in projection or infotainment connectivity development, system integration, or debugging

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field

Skillset Needed:

• Strong knowledge of Apple CarPlay (wired & wireless) architecture and protocols.

• Hands-on experience with USB (MFi stack), Wi-Fi (projection streaming), and Bluetooth (handover, pairing).

• Debugging experience with tools: Xcode logs, Wireshark, protocol analyzers, QXDM/QCAT

• Knowledge of infotainment OS platforms (QNX, Linux, Android Automotive).

• Audio integration experience: HFP, A2DP, Siri voice, navigation prompts.

• Familiar with HMI integration and projection rendering pipelines.

Preferred Experience:

• Automotive infotainment platforms (Qualcomm SA8155/SA8295, other QC platfoems).

• Familiarity with Android Auto and other projection frameworks.

• Knowledge of certification processes: MFi licensing, Apple CarPlay compliance testing.

• Exposure to cloud/OTA frameworks for projection feature updates.
