Your Role
Coordinate environmental, health and safety activities necessary to comply with the requirements of Clean Industry, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Ministry of Labor, SEMARNAT, State Authority, ETC.
Ensure compliance and monitor compliance with legal obligations in health, safety and environmental and energy matters.
Coordinate, attend and follow up on planned and unplanned safety and environmental audits of the company.
Advise management on EHS&S matters for the different activities developed in each area, or in new projects.
Planning and supervision of daily and future activities of the personnel in charge.
Identify and follow up on the implementation of EHS&S training.
Implement and evaluate preventive programs for risk reduction, sustainability projects and applicable environmental aspects according to current regulations.
Generate and keep updated the EHS&S indicators determined in the company.
Coordination of meetings with different internal departments, in order to stop and/or solve EHS&S problems.
Prioritization and decision making in the prevention and solution of EHS&S problems.
Implementation of EHS&S documentation aligned to clean industry, ISO-14001, internal control, labor secretary and (SEMARNAT, SPA, Fire Department, Civil Protection Department, ETC.), as well as management and processing of licenses and permits, in EHS&S material.
Coordination of meetings with external suppliers of materials, equipment or services for the solution of EHS&S problems.
Administration of the budget allocated to the EHS&S area, control of expenses and capital projects.
Has the authority to stop any action and/or condition that is a fault and jeopardizes the Health and Safety of employees or negatively impacts the environment.
Has the authority to provide feedback to any employee on good behavior that contributes to safety, health and environmental well-being, and/or on behavior that jeopardizes their health, safety, and/or has a negative impact on the environment.
Has the authority to escalate any situation, action and/or condition to the leadership group, which generates a safety, health risk or unfavorable impact to the environment.
Has the authority to stop any action and/or condition that leads to inefficient energy consumption.
Has the authority to give feedback to any employee who commits a fault and jeopardizes the quality of the product, or who performs good actions and/or promotes conditions to exceed quality.
