Familiar in component manufacturing processes (plastic molding, stampings, machining, deep drawn, etc.)
Ability to work independently and motivate others
Ability to lead projects, directing the activity of multiple support organizations and assure timely completion of deliverables.
Possess sufficient CAD skills to open, manipulate, assemble, and make minor modifications to 3D component models
Develop and improve the product collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, operations and quality
Interface with customers & suppliers in defining product requirements & component specifications.
Your Background
2D and 3D CAD proficiency with NX or Solidworks.
Problem solving certification or training.
Experience in design of injection molded, rubber, sheet metal, with a general knowledge of the manufacturing process for each.
Experience in applying GD&T dimensioning and performing tolerance stacks.
General knowledge of industry specifications pertaining to pertaining to USCAR, IATF:16949, etc.
Work with suppliers, purchasing, SQE, ME, VE, plant mfg., plant quality to resolve issues.
