Product Validation Engineer

• Participate in DFMEA and compliance matrix review.

• Support Engineering team in researching failure mechanisms, physics of ageing and impact of various factors on tested components in order to collect data supporting validation plans optimization and product design robustness improvement.

• Execute assigned tasks in a timely manner and in compliance with the quality system valid for Aptiv corporation.

Requirements:

• Engineering university degree - preferred fields: electrical, mechanical, material engineering, physics

• Familiarity with automotive electrical component testing standards

• Understanding physical foundations of environmental exposure testing and accelerated aging test methods

• Experience in electrical and mechanical tests on components of electrical distribution systems

• Working knowledge of properties of thermoplastic materials as well as non-ferrous metal alloys

• English proficiency

• Readiness to undertake business trips
