VAT Specialist

(This is a fixed-term replacement contract.)

Your role

• Prepare VAT returns for multiple jurisdictions in EMEA

• Prepare Intrastat reports, EC Sales List and other VAT related reports if required

• Ensure accuracy and timely reporting of VAT

• Perform VAT related reconciliations

• Support other functions in the area of VAT

• Cooperate with finance, tax staff, customs as well as external service providers

• Support implementation of new legal requirements

• Participate in design and implementation of standardized procedures and continuous improvement projects in the EMEA region

Your background

• Minimum 1-2 year experience in VAT and accounting (preferably in a shared services or multinational company)

• Good command of English

• Good analytical skills and advanced Excel user

• Fast learner and self-driven
