Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Classification process for locations across Asia Pacific; assigns HTS codes to the specific import and export order.

• Ensure compliance with applicable regional, local, and U.S. import control laws and regulations concerning the movement of goods and services across borders, in order to protect Arrow from fines, penalties and publicity resulting from violations.

• Acts as a liaison among several internal groups across Arrow businesses in an effort to ensure proper adherence to trade management and trade control laws and regulations.

• Work with local Transportation team in China and other locations to manage the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) code.

• Provide analysis & regulatory guidance on preferential warehousing and trade agreement programs, and country specific regulations.

• Conduct and report on internal business assessments regarding trade control procedures, including monitor of resulting action items.

• Support integration of Arrow trade operations processes with new business units.

• Support related audit efforts for import/export for Asia Pacific operations.

• Other duties or projects as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

• Typically requires a 4-year degree and 2-4 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience.

• Working knowledge of Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification.

• Knowledge of Trade Compliance and Export regulations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication; must be fluent in English.

• Must be proactive and able to work independently

• Prior experience in the electronics industry highly preferred.

• Knowledge of the China Customs Regulations preferred
