Supply Chain Forecast Analyst
Introduction to the job
Are you the Supply Chain Forecast Analyst that can drive the Customer Supply Chain to deliver impact that is valuable for our customers (e.g. deliver the committed customer service, prevent out of stock situations) and contributes the profitability of ASML (e.g. limit emergency shipments, prevent obsolescence)?
Role and responsibilities
-Define and improve forecasting methodologies for service parts/tools quarterly review of defined strategies
-Design & create tooling & reporting to support an efficient forecasting process
-Classify parts/tools usage in segments to enable correct parts/tools forecasting, leading to improved forecast accuracy results
-Manages the interface and alignment between Sourcing and Logistics, Field and Finance, ensuring that the complete organization is executing to the same plan
-Drive and participate in cross-sectoral projects to identify root causes where forecast led to Excess and Obsolescence
-Highlight deviations in usage that are resulting in change of forecast; convincing the organization to take appropriate actions
-Prepares and facilitates the monthly forecast review processes and demand meeting
Education and experience
Relevant Master degree (e.g Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Business Administration, Supply chain or Engineering)
- Experience with forecasting methodologies and statistical modeling
- Has 3-5 years' experience in service supply chain planning (demand and/or supply)
- Strong in statistics and stochastic processes
- Familiar with ERP preferably SAP
