    Position summary

    ng Creative Studio team and partner with Brand, Product Marketing, and Performance Marketing teammates to craft clear and concise copy.

    What you'll do at Atlassian:

    • Write clear, compelling, and engaging copy for various marketing materials, including but not limited to websites, social media posts, OOH campaigns, experiential activations, and emails.

    • Partner closely with the Performance and Product marketing teams and stakeholders - We're looking for a conceptual mind to bring new ideas to life.

    • Collaborate with the in-house Creative Studio to develop creative concepts, messaging strategy, and align copy with visual storytelling.

    • Write with a defined tone and voice, with the ability to pull the appropriate levers for our
      audiences.

    • Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, grammar, and consistency.

    • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in events copywriting.

    • Be the expert and main driver for creative copy across multiple workstreams.

    Please apply if you have:

    • Familiarity in technology events and conferences, and the SaaS collaboration software space. Knowledge in Jira and Confluence, and other tools in the Atlassian suite is a strong plus.

    • Proven experience as a copywriter or in a similar role. Agency experience is a plus.

    • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once, prioritizing to meet deadlines. Flexible and adaptive to shifts in project needs and priorities.

    • Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.

    • Proficiency in using content management systems and other relevant software.

    • Knowledge of SEO principles and keyword research.

    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Must be highly driven and autonomous while being able to manage expectations and relationships across multiple stakeholders.

    • A great resume and portfolio of produced work with demonstrated experience in email,
      print, digital, social, and video.

    • 3-5 years of copywriting experience with an emphasis on product marketing and event experiences.

    Compensation

    At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

    Zone A: $95,900 - $127,800

    Zone B: $86,300 - $115,000

    Zone C: $79,600 - $106,100

    This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
