    Position summary

    strategy and roadmap by evaluating, selecting, and optimizing the technology stack (registration, content/session management, mobile app, onsite technology, lead retrieval, networking, and virtual/hybrid extensions).

    • Integrate data pipelines by designing and overseeing bi-directional integrations and critical data flows across all event technology platforms and to other internal systems (Salesforce for example).

    • Manage resources and prioritize effectively to deliver quality work on time.

    • Champion privacy and security by implementing and maintaining consent management, data retention, and data subject rights flows across all platforms.

    • Lead onsite technology operations by designing onsite experiences (check-ins, scanning, and Wi-Fi dependencies), developing comprehensive contingency plans, and managing all technology partners.

    • Manage agencies and vendors along with assigned budget by leading contract negotiation (SOWs, platform licensing) and actively managing usage and costs to maximize return on investment.

    • Challenge the status quo by proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation, introducing creative solutions that meet the business needs, and implementing ideas that drive efficiency and elevate event experiences.

    Your background:

    • 10+ years of enterprise event technology experience (min 5 years in-house).

    • Proven experience leading technology for large-scale, global event programs.

    • 3+ years leading and developing a team of people in a fast-paced environment with a proven focus on people development, and team engagement

    • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functionally and throughout the agency and vendor ecosystem to drive alignment and successful execution

    • Demonstrated ability to think creatively, challenge existing processes, and drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness to achieve business results

    • Direct experience with key event technologies such as RainFocus, Cvent, Swoogo, JiffleNow and Eventbase.

    • Demonstrated rigor in QA, ticket/incident management, vendor management, and creating clear documentation.

    • Experience driving technology innovation and automation in event environments.

    • Deep understanding of privacy laws (i.e. GDPR) and practical experience ensuring compliance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Enterprise SaaS company experience.

    • Strong analytical and reporting skills.

    • Familiarity working with Salesforce in Marketing.

    • Previous experience managing enterprise events.

    Compensation

    At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

    Zone A: $156,600 - $204,450

    Zone B: $141,300 - $184,475

    Zone C: $130,500 - $170,375

    This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
