    ABOUT THE ROLE
    The Senior Director, Growth Marketing APAC will hold a senior leadership position within Audible APAC, overseeing a team of performance marketers across Japan, India and Australia to develop acquisition marketing plans focused on delivering efficient growth of Audible’s memberbase. This role will be located in Sydney.

    ABOUT YOU
    The ideal candidate will have a background leading acquisition based marketing teams with experience in digital performance channels. They will have the ability to challenge performance marketing plans at a granular level (including but not limited to user journeys, spend allocations, creative and targeting strategies) as well analyzing the broader acquisition strategy to understand interrelationships between channels and proposing optimisations to drive incremental growth from media investment. They will partner closely with the media agency, internal business insights teams and finance, developing yearly and quarterly spend and subscription forecasts backed up by robust data and a clear narrative. The ideal candidate will have exceptional commercial acumen, be highly analytical with the ability to draw the line between marketing plans and business outcomes.

    The Senior Director, Growth Marketing APAC will develop strong relationships with international and US counterparts to share learnings and insights between marketplaces and drive an effective operating process globally. They will influence senior stakeholders coordinating with leaders across APAC and global to drive results and have a strong track record in coaching and developing teams.

    Key job responsibilities
    As a Senior Director, Growth Marketing APAC, you will...

    • Oversee, develop and drive alignment on the performance marketing strategy and budget allocation for APAC
    • Manage the performance marketing team to meet or exceed growth targets and improve Return on Investment (ROI)
    • Consolidate performance media results, information, and insights and share actionable learnings with the Head of Acquisition APAC
    • Manage the acquisition marketing forecasting process and output, ensuring robust methodology and accuracy
    • Ensure best in class ad tech and measurement set up and make recommendations on improvements where appropriate
    • Utilize Data Science team to produce insightful analysis to inform media strategy and build understanding of inter-relationships between channels and incrementality of media spend
    • Partner with the global media centre and global acquisition counterparts to continuously improve our understanding of attribution
    • Collaborate with global counterparts to share knowledge, insights and plans that will help to drive APAC and international performance
    • Work with product teams to implement product initiatives to improve acquisition and develop an understanding of impact
    • Drive superior agency operations, providing feedback to senior agency stakeholders, ensuring the right account structure and support
    • Improve the sophistication of Audible’s acquisition approach, working with Business Insights to better understand LTV at a channel level and adjusting our media strategy accordingly
    • Oversee the development of best practice direct response creative and landing page development
    • Audit and improve acquisition user journeys and drive continuous improvement through testing
