    Position summary

    to investigate and resolve complex technical problems.

    • Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization and improvement.

    • Document support procedures, troubleshooting steps, and resolution techniques.

    • Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support coverage for critical systems.

    • Maintain a strong understanding of the Enterprise Data and related systems to provide accurate and timely support.

    • Contribute to the development of automation tools and scripts to streamline support processes.

    • Stay up to date on the latest Power BI features and best practices, incorporating them into reporting solutions.

    • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

    • Proven experience in Data operations or a similar role.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

    • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve complex problems.

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

    • AWS Experience:

    • Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and managing AWS services.

    • Knowledge of AWS best practices for security, scalability, and reliability.

    • Experience with AWS CLI, SDKs, and management consoles for resource provisioning and automation.

    • Understanding of AWS networking, security groups, IAM roles, and VPC setup.

    • Ability to optimize costs and performance by selecting appropriate AWS services and configurations.

    • Monitoring Tools (Catchpoint, Grafana):

    • Proficiency in setting up and configuring monitoring tools like Catchpoint and Grafana.

    • Experience in defining and implementing monitoring strategies for infrastructure, applications, and services.

    • Skill in creating custom dashboards, alerts, and reports to track performance metrics and identify issues.

    • Knowledge of configuring synthetic and real user monitoring (RUM) for comprehensive performance monitoring.

    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified through monitoring tools efficiently.

    • Dashboarding Experience (PowerBI or Looker):

    • Proficiency in creating interactive dashboards using PowerBI or Looker.

    • Experience in data visualization and storytelling to convey insights effectively.

    • Skill in connecting to various data sources, transforming data, and creating meaningful visualizations.

    • Knowledge of designing dashboards tailored to different user requirements and personas.

    • Ability to integrate data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive view of performance metrics and KPIs.

    • Troubleshooting:

    • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset for troubleshooting issues.

    • Experience in root cause analysis (RCA) to identify underlying issues and implement corrective actions.

    • Ability to perform systematic troubleshooting across different layers of the technology stack (network, application, database, etc.).

    • Skill in using debugging tools, logs, and monitoring metrics to diagnose and resolve issues promptly.

    • Knowledge of common troubleshooting methodologies and best practices for incident management and resolution.
