The Change Management Team @ Autodesk
The Finance Change Management Office (CMO) uses a structured approach in partnership with the Finance Project Management Office (PMO) to serve as a strategic enablement function for Autodesk's global Finance organization by driving readiness and adoption strategies and plans for people-related changes.
Position Overview
As the Finance Change Management Specialist, you will support the Change Management Manager to assess, develop, execute, monitor, and measure effectiveness of change management strategies and plans for the Finance organization's two primary strategic initiatives, The Future of Finance and The Apollo Program. These multi-year, complex sets of initiatives will transform and modernize Finance's processes, capabilities, and technologies to advance Autodesk's global growth strategies. You will report to the Change Management Manager in the Finance Change Management Office (CMO) and will work closely with other CMO team members, Finance leaders, project managers, and key cross-functional partners to ensure a “One Autodesk” approach to each project. This role will also manage CMO's change management software and tools, help evolve CMO's reporting and analytics, and serve as the primary organizer of change management skills building activities within Finance.
Responsibilities
Support Change Management Manager to create and execute Change Management strategies and plans for multiple simultaneous projects per CMO project plan; help ensure timely delivery of CMO deliverables
Partner with CMO team to help execute stakeholder engagement plans cross-functionally
Identify and maintain CMO's stakeholder architecture to consistently assess change management scope, level of impact, and support needed for each project and impacted team
Execute change impact collection process for each project (identify changes to processes, technology, and new way of thinking for each stakeholder group) and recommend improvements to the collection framework, tools, and approach
Support execution of change assessments and the sharing of results (e.g. intake assessments, stakeholder interviews, and readiness assessments)
Manage, evolve, and further operationalize use of CMO's change management software, supporting tools, processes, and standard operating procedures
In partnership with CMO's training and communication teams, evolve and operationalize new data driven insights, analytics, and change management reporting.
Support CMO Sr. Manager and Change Management Manager on new project intake, sizing, contracting, and tracking processes; recommend process and tool improvements over time, and maintain standard operating procedures
Support and organize change management certification and skill building activities led by the Change Management Manager
Develop positive and productive relationships with key stakeholders through meetings, Teams/Slack chats, focus groups, etc.
Develop PowerPoint decks and presentations ensuring alignment and integration with overall program communications strategy and plans
Support Change Network activities and coordinate monthly meetings
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, human resources, organizational development, organizational psychology, or related field
Experience and working knowledge of change management methods, processes, and tools
7-10 years professional business experience working in a cross-functional capacity, with demonstrated progression of increased responsibility; (examples, but not limited to roles in HR, internal or external consulting, project management, organization development/design, learning and development, talent management, business process design, or corporate communications)
3-5 years of experience supporting change management activities including stakeholder management, user readiness, training, and communications for one or more complex, global, transformational technology projects
Strong writing, speaking and interpersonal skills
Proven record of complex problem solving and decision making
Experience developing project plans, project budgets, resource plans, and risk management plans
Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel, PowerPoint and familiarity with SharePoint
Excellent organizational skills
Collaborative team player with results focus
Flexible approach and ability to quickly pivot as necessary to support urgent program needs
Experience providing data analytics, analysis, and reporting
Ability to quickly learn and willingness to use any required technology tools meant to support, streamline and track overall project and program change management effort
Comfortable with ambiguity, changes in direction and priorities, in a fast-paced environment, large complex system implementation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in change management for a global ERP implementation, preferably SAP or S/4HANA
Project management experience
Experience or knowledge of change communication, training, and instructional design concepts
Knowledgeable of process design methods
Ability to build business acumen quickly
General understanding of corporate finance a plus
Change management certification a plus (Prosci/ADKAR, ACMP)

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $82,900 and $143,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
