Position Overview
We're looking for an experienced and talented Collaboration Tools Engineer to join our Collaboration Services team. As the Tools Engineer you would be responsible for the administration, deployment, integrations, and migrations of our Slack, Zoom, and other Collaboration platforms at Autodesk. You will work with internal & external partners across diverse organizations. You will be a part of setting & maintaining standards, best practices, reviewing policies & procedures, and ensuring success and security at Autodesk. Automating business processes where possible is an essential part of the role. You will spearhead technical design of the platforms, as well as ongoing feature changes and maintenance.
Responsibilities
Serve as a point of contact for the Enterprise Systems: Slack, Zoom implementation as a technical resource and other Collaboration Services tools
Administration; architecture; user provisioning; settings and policies; application approval processes; data security; process design
Authentication, authorization, configuration, operations, and integration with enterprise and custom systems
Review existing standards and refine governance model, external collaboration and partner applications, and other document management systems
Build onto an organizational structure that will allow for maximum automation and scalability
Work with the Identity Management teams for account lifecycle and security policy management
Manage numerous tasks simultaneously
Balance user experience with security requirements
Will manage and maintain SSO for Collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom and other tools integrated with SSO
Will manage role-based access needs for Collaboration tools
Minimum Qualifications
Service oriented mindset who has experience with technology support
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Can work independently on tasks, is a self-starter and is proactive in identifying opportunities & communicating with team and business partners
Strong Slack automation knowledge building bots and apps
Possesses a strong understanding of Slack, Zoom, other Collaboration tools Governance
Required to work PST and/or flexible work hours and days
An ability to thrive in high pressure, highly flexible environment against both short- and long-term requirements
A passion for technology and an ability to identify new opportunities for efficiency and productiveness to solve problems and deliver desirable business outcomes
Ability to work effectively with team members, peers, and others in and outside the organization to accomplish goals and objectives, and to identify and resolve problems
Successful track record in working on multi-functional, cross-team projects
Horizontal knowledge of other Collab platforms for systems integration and automation support
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly outside of the Collaboration Services tools domain for integration, automation, migration, and optimizing employee productivity.
Hands on experience managing large-scale slack implementation as an enterprise tool
Slack Certified Administrator, Powershell, PowerBI, APIs, Webservices, Python, C++, JavaScript, Electron
5+ years of experience in Administration and implementation of Collaboration Tools
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
