Position Overview

Autodesk Revit is looking for a product owner for our Building & Infrastructure Design (BID) Group in Autodesk China R&D Center (ACRD) based in Shanghai, China.

You will report to Product Owner Manager. This position is a hybrid or office-based position.

Responsibilities 

  • Understand customer value, gather and analyze customer’s needs by meeting customers and collaborating with stakeholders

  • Understand technical trends to identify valuable innovations in the product environment

  • Guide the team to a clear definition of deliverable business value for each team sprint, quarter, and release

  • Working with the Product Manager to track progress against our long-term roadmap

  • Review customers feedback to assess new needs, lead the offer requirement trade-offs

  • Collaborating daily with the scrum team to evaluate their progress and assist them with prioritization, take accountability in sharing outcomes with stakeholders

  • Ensure team understands and refines backlog items before committing to them

  • Being accountable for the delivery of the team's improvements to desktop software and cloud services

  • Documenting and communicating the release plan internally and externally to stakeholders

  • Identify project inter-dependencies, and communicate project estimation, progress update to scrum team stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture or equivalent domain 

  • 5 years of professional experience, including the experience as project leader or comparable experience supporting different sized projects

  • English as a working language

  • Break down complex ideas into simplified applicable items 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Break down larger efforts into more understandable, more manageable chunks

  • Experience guiding and tracking larger efforts until they have been completed to expectations

  • In-depth understanding to software development process, communication and documentation
