Position Overview
The Autodesk Info360 team is looking for an experienced full stack Software Engineering Manager to join our team. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a high performing engineering team and participate in a cutting-edge SaaS platform build out. This is a key position within our SaaS development organization which is set to handle massive data scale and ground-breaking machine learning solutions.
Innovyze, an Autodesk company, is the global leader in building innovative, industry-leading software for the water industry for over 35 years. Innovyze serves thousands of clients including the largest utilities, Engineering News Record (ENR) design firms, consultancies, and treatment plants around the world.
The role can be based in the UK or western/central Europe with the option to work remotely.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 7 years’ experience, preferably architecting and building back-end data services, APIs, or microservices in a large-scale production environment.
Minimum 3 years leading software engineering teams.
Expert Knowledge of AWS with services such as Aurora, RDS, S3, Fargate, Lambda, EKS (or ECS).
Strong experience architecting and building high scale event driven architectures.
Strong experience using AWS Lambdas is a plus.
Working experience with AWS IoT is a plus.
Working experience with IAC (terraform / cloud formation) is a plus.
Understanding machine learning concepts is a plus.
Strong experience with React and its ecosystem:
React and routers
Redux and state management design and implementation
Redux Sagas/Thunks and enabling Asynchronous operations
React Context API and compositional pattern understanding
Jest, Enzyme and good testing practices
Solid experience with CSS preprocessors, SASS (preferred)
Experience building, integrating or consuming APIs from client applications
Understanding of Component Driven Development

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
