More about the role 
We are seeking for a Senior Consultant with experience in Dynamics 365 Finance and/or Dynamics 365 Project Operations to join our ERP team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide innovative solutions leveraging mostly Microsoft D365 Finance as well as D365 Project Operations. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a crucial role in the successful implementation and optimization of accounting and/or project management functionalities within the Dynamics 365 platform.

You will:

• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, conduct business process analysis, and design solutions tailored to their accounting and/or project management needs.

• Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and/or Dynamics 365 Project Operations to align with client requirements, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality.

• Participate in full-cycle implementation of projects, including project planning, scoping, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, training, and post-implementation support.

• Provide expert guidance and best practices to clients on how to leverage primarily Dynamics 365 Finance, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, etc., and secondly Dynamics 365 Project Operations, including project costing, resource management, time tracking among others. 

• Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate end users on the effective utilization of Dynamics 365 for accounting and/or project management tasks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, functional consultants, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest features, updates, and enhancements in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Dynamics 365 Project Operations assessing their applicability to client requirements.

• Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance to clients to improve accounting and/or project management processes, drive operational efficiency, and achieve business objectives.

• Assist in pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal development, and client presentations.

Is this you or could it be you with a little help from our unlimited learning?

Your technical and non-technical skills include:

• Strong experience in accounting processes preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. You might have also experience from project management processes with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations.

• Proficiency in configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 Finance and/or Dynamics 365 Project Operations, including knowledge of modules such as General Ledger and Financial reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Accounting, and Project Management.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and project management methodologies.

• Proven track record in leading and delivering successful Dynamics 365 implementation projects, in a consulting environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical and scalable solutions within the Dynamics 365 platform.

• Proficiancy in at least one Scandinavian language and excellent written and spoken English language skills. 

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Flexibility to travel to client sites as required.

• Relevant certifications (https://e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate) are highly valued.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is seen as a plus.
