Position Summary
We are searching for a Project Manager with Business Analysis documentation skills for our team. The Open Banking Channel is experiencing rapid growth driven by the onboarding of 3rd party aggregators to APIs that will eliminate these 3rd parties from possessing our customer's login credentials, and scraping our online screens to obtain data. Standing up and properly operating this channel is a critical mission for the bank. The Open Banking Channel is responsible for onboarding and managing API integrations for third parties and Fintechs that provide alternate banking experiences to our customers. Initially focused on Aggregator partnerships, the role of the Delivery Lead will be to communicate and manage the work objectives, coordinate delivery, document technical requirements, manage risks, ensure compliance to standards, and provide end-to-end visibility into the health of the project/program for multiple internal service provider teams and external partners. Open Banking Channel Delivery Leads are responsible for partnering with line of business partners, application teams, open banking tech leads, and 3rd party Fintech partners to define realistic scope and project plans to execute design, development, and testing within schedule and budget constraints, provide accurate and timely status updates, document risks and risk mitigation plans, and coordinate/facilitate routines to support delivery e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc. The Delivery Lead will maintain a partnership/working relationship with the application teams, business partners, and 3rd parties to ensure full transparency of all project goals and objectives.
Required Skills
A Deliver Lead will also assume duties including but not limited to:
Strong strategic thinker and the proven ability to execute.
Superior communication skills, ability to navigate in a matrix management model and influence across multiple organization levels.
Strong relationship management skills.
Willing and able to work after hours when required to support multiple time zones.
Acts as the project subject matter expert to support delivery deadlines, governance routines, cross project dependencies and budget.
Formally manages change controls for scope, schedule, and budget targets to adhere to bank Change Management policies.
Work with Line of Business and Technology partners to align and document technical requirements in support of design deliverables from architects.
Participates in the industry consortium Financial Data Exchange (FDX) working group to stay current on industry expectations.
Thoughtfully collaborate with portfolio and project managers to develop initiative portfolio performance health reporting and clearly articulate scope and quantifiable business benefits.
Develop compelling executive presentations for portfolio financials, risks, issues and manage change processes. Ability to effectively convey complex information concisely.
Support of program management tools and techniques in alignment with the bank Change and Project Management Framework.
Desired Skills
Understanding of API's and data exchange principles.
Familiar with RESTful patterns and OAuth 2 authorization framework.
Experience with JIRA and ALM.
Experience with Change and Project Management tools and processes such as Enterprise Change Management Standards, PCM, PPRT, NEXUS, etc.
Experience with multiple delivery frameworks (Agile, Scrum, SDLC) and ability to work across varying levels of Agile maturity to encourage and foster predictability.
Process-oriented; able to navigate bank policies and procedures.
