KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for driving business development of Financial Institutions clients for Corporate Banking in Hong Kong (HK) and the Greater Bay Area
Be the leader of the Financial Institutions Corporate Banking portfolio in HK and the Greater Bay Area, provide leadership across product partners and across geographies to drive business and to set strategies for the portfolio and to service existing clients
Develop and grow the Financial Institutions client base in HK and the Greater Bay Area. Determine marketing and business development strategies to achieve target profitability and market share goals. Monitor client revenues regularly to ensure that set targets/revenue hurdles are met.
Lead and participate in business development marketing of Bank of America's capabilities to the cleint base globally.
Drive a product set which includes credit and risk management products, cash management and trade solutions, debt capital raising, leasing, investment and treasury products.
Assess clients' needs and work with product specialists to structure and present customized solutions. Demonstrate to the clients a full understanding of their needs.
Strengthen the bank's relationship at senior management level with existing/new clients and improve the profile and penetration of the Financial Institutions business for Bank of America in HK and the Greater Bay Area
Strengthen the Bank's presence and profile in the local market as a credible business partner and trusted financial advisor
Interact with business partners, to offer comprehensive banking product offerings to targeted clients. Work with product specialists on credit facilities, cash management, trade, supply chain solutions, global markets (currencies and rates), leasing, loan syndication and capital markets.
Fully leverage the Bank of America's combined global platform including Investment Banking
EXPERIENCE
Core Requirements
Proven track record in successful Financial Institution's relationship management and business development (origination and execution of financial service solutions), resulting in a sizeable business portfolio.
Have demonstrated an independent, entrepreneurial mindset and results-oriented approach.
Able to deliver under time pressure to deliver results.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in credit and marketing to Financial Institutions with good understanding of a product range that includes credit, trade, cash management, risk management and capital market products.
Familiarity with the HK market and operating environment across Asia Pacific is essential.
Confidentand able to interface with and influence senior Bank officers and key decision makers of clients
Good negotiation skills
A strong credit background and understanding of risk.
Excellent analytical, sales, communication, presentation and organizational skills.
Inclusive and flexible working style ability to multi-task and to lead change.
Proficiency in Mandarin & Cantonese.
