Job Description:
Capital is the foundation upon which Bank of America runs its business, invests, takes risk and generates returns for shareholders. Enterprise Capital Management (ECM), is responsible for efficient and prudent management of the corporation's as well as its subsidiaries' capital across the enterprise globally.
This role is on the Regulatory Capital Reporting and Consolidation team and focuses on consolidation, monitoring and presentation of aggregate capital management metrics for multiple legal entities. The candidate will join a dynamic environment that offers numerous opportunities to learn, grow, impact and drive changes for the enterprise. In particular, the candidate will:
Own components of monthly, quarterly and weekly report production, including data gathering and analysis, as well as reporting tools maintenance and controls
Provide insights into the major trends impacting capital metric components period over period, such as RWA drivers, shareholder's equity changes, regulatory changes, etc.
Ensure continuous compliance with relevant capital management policies, rules and regulations
Identify and present key highlights from the analysis to ECM senior leadership and business partners
Partner with supporting technology groups to drive and implement reporting process enhancements and ensure smooth production execution
For the assigned reporting components, serve as a subject matter expert on the respective regulations, industry trends, data and process
Support management with ad-hoc data and analysis inquiries
Drive team connectivity and process improvements which deliver team Op Ex and SIM goals
Foster relationships with peers and partners in other groups within Treasury and Risk
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial organization
Familiarity with Basel III regulatory capital rules
Relevant experience in regulatory reporting, capital management roles
Strong financial analysis skills and business acumen
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Intermediate SQL skills
Experience in preparing concise and effective presentations, including the ability to explain results of complex analysis at a level that resonates across many different audiences
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Strong communication skills and ability to influence peers and at all levels of the organization
Desired Skills & Experience:
Expertise in Basel III regulatory capital rules
Direct experience with RWA calculation and reporting
Knowledge of industry trends and regulatory environment
Advanced SQL skills
