Seek out new, value-added and/or unusual sources of information
Have ability to monitor news flow, analyze data and highlight stock-impacting updates when Senior Analyst is traveling
Develop surveys and conduct interviews to understand new product/service potential, market dynamics, and current and future product/service demand
Interact regularly with sales, trading and external clients

Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree (advanced degree or industry is a plus but not required)
Ideal candidate would have min years of experience in equity research, buy side experience, investment banking or industry/consulting experience, perferred
Strong writing and financial modeling skills
Must enjoy following the stock market and doing desktop and field research
Academic background in a specific field requirement (e.g., Healthcare, Technology, Consumer, Financials, Industrials)
Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task
