Job Description:
The primary responsibilities of the Capital Calculation & Analysis (CC&A) team within Enterprise Capital Management (ECM) are to produce timely and accurate reporting of the company’s risk-weighted assets, coordinate variance analysis to explain key drivers, and produce presentations to senior management. Success requires understanding of regulatory capital and accounting rules, regulatory reporting requirements, partnership with various stakeholders, problem-solving ability, ability to work under tight deadlines, and strong attention to detail. CC&A is looking for a motivated self-starter who wants to learn how capital is calculated and reported both internally and externally.
In our rapidly changing banking environment, the individual in this role will be expected to maintain policies and procedures and coordinate projects to bring about enhancements as needed in partnership with ECM, Technology and Compliance. Strong quantitative and analytical skills as well as familiarity with banking products are needed
The teammate in this role is responsible for (1) Capital Reporting, (2) Variance Analysis, and (3) Management Reporting and presentations to senior management. As part of the responsibilities of the role, the teammate will develop business partner relationships with within ECM, e.g. various workstreams, ECMT, and various LOBs. Throughout the tenure of the role, the teammate should develop knowledge and skills related to the following: knowledge of Basel capital rules, capital reporting, management reporting and presentations, and project coordination.
