Job Description:
The candidate will be a member of the Governance and Control team within Centralized Regulatory Reporting (CRR) and would be responsible for executing quality assurance activities to ensure that teams across The CFO Group are adhering to the enterprise regulatory reporting policy. The candidate will be responsible for understanding policy requirements, developing adherence validation activities, working with teams across CFO to review documentation, and facilitate observation escalation and management as needed. The candidate would also assist in the execution of other CRR governance and control priorities as needed, such as process standardization, implementation of Operational Excellence initiatives, and coordination of review/exam responses as needed
Specific Responsibilities:
Develop and execute Quality Assurance activities to cover CFO adherence to the regulatory reporting policy
Review results with management and other key stakeholders
Assist in the preparation of materials for senior management reporting
Participate in efforts to streamline processes and make more efficient through the use of emerging technology
Assist CRR management in the execution of other Governance and Control priorities as needed
Interact with auditors, regulators, and other control groups
Required Skills:
Must have BS/BA Degree
Ability to work with stakeholders across teams, build consensus and execute strategic objectives
Ability to think analytically and challenge management on assertions made
Strong technical skills; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication including attention to detail
Problem-solving; ability to quickly solve issues that arise
Ability to learn and adapt to change
Commitment to company values, brand, and the customer experience
Desired Skills:
5-10 years of experience with a financial institution involving finance, accounting or regulatory reporting
Prior testing experience preferred but not required
