Position summary
Job Description:
The Enterprise Payments Merchant Services team is seeking a Senior
Strategist to collaborate with senior leadership, multiple lines of business
and key stakeholders to develop industry intelligence and successful
business strategies. A successful candidate will be able to develop and
present complex concepts succinctly and persuasively to a variety of
audiences.
Key responsibilities include:
•Partner with key stakeholder to develop both short and long term
strategies and roadmaps to be utilized by each functional / segment
within the organization for lower level strategic and tactical planning
•Research & analysis of critical internal and external data to identify
strategic opportunites and threats
•Develop strategic responses to competitive market developments and
dynamics
•Create well informed points of view on key industry trends and assess
potential impacts to our business
•Collaborate with Senior Leadership to develop and keep evergreen
Merchant Services strategic goals and objectives as part of the overall
merchant services strategy
•Communicate merchant services strategy & initiative updates to
business partnersPartner with marketing and commercialization to
provide key data, insight and positions for client facing thought
leadership and industry pieces and ensure client messaging in external
presentations represents the overarching strategy
•Develop strategic initiative business cases including financial projections and analysis

•High level of proficiency in creating and presenting executive-level presentations Highly organized and motivated self-starter Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
•Exceptional critical thinking skills
•Ability to make actionable recommendations based on sound data and judgment
Desired Skills:
•Consulting, corporate strategy or investment banking background strongly preferred
•Expertise in data analysis and/or financial modeling a plus
•High level of proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel
•5+ years of relevant strategy or management advisory experience, preferribly in merchant acquiring and/or payments
