Job Description:
Role Overview:
Responsible for the management and oversight of a wide range of Global Events enablement initiatives including GE strategy development and initiative management. Will support overall Global Events strategy with a focus on delivering operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic**, Operations & Oversight:**
Event execution process owner; includes SPI work around event execution and creation / management of event SOP’s
Development of event operating guidelines and continuing education program to enhance planner function across all teams
Vendor portfolio review and selection; includes lead for RFP process for event execution vendor
Event execution vendor operational oversight; includes operational consistency and future model design enhancements
Strategic project management; milestone management for assigned initiatives; including those driving operational excellent
Global Events owner for training and continuing education program; including content identification and delivery
GE risk management; in collaboration with teammates to drive adoption / compliance (ABAC, GDPR, Privacy, N&L, ADA, etc.) across GE team
GE team administrative oversight; troubleshooting daily challenges and serves as resource for team
Required Skills & Experiences:
15+ years of meeting / event management experience with a focus on corporate program development
Strong relationship management experience and business acumen
Executive presence and polish
Experience in defining and executing against strategy
Vendor operations management and escalation resolution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience in responding with sense of urgency
Leadership Competencies
Demonstrates superior relationship management skills and strong attention to detail
Ensures the proper risk disciplines are in place to deliver the best outcomes for our customers, clients, and shareholders and to protect our company’s reputation
