    Job Description:
    This job is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Key responsibilities include developing a technology strategy, ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards, promoting design, engineering, and organizational practices, and advocating and advancing modern, Agile solution delivery practices. Job expectations may include coaching, mentoring, providing feedback and hands on career development, identifying emerging talent, fostering leadership skills, and managing stakeholders.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with Developers to build a world-class infrastructure that can meet our customer's security and uptime requirements

    • Drive the development of our developer and CI/CD processes to improve our developer agility and code quality

    • Manage mission-critical cloud-based production systems; proactively take action if/when systems are down or there are interruptions in service; root cause and implement corrective actions to build long-term customer loyalty

    • Help create and evolve our operational processes

    • Help to identify emerging technologies that can enhance our offering to our customers

    • Be passionate about automation, quality, reliability, and scalability

    Responsibilities:

    • Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives

    • Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills

    • Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met

    • Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization

    • Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain

    • Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers

    • Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with product management and other stakeholders

    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum 4-8 years in Cloud Technologies preferably AWS

    • Minimum 4-8 years of experience with deployment orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, ECS, and Elastic Beanstalk

    • Minimum 4 -8+ years of experience working with CI/CD tools such as CircleCI or Jenkins

    • Minimum 4-8+ years of experience with Docker and Docker-Compose

    • Minimum 4-8+ years with configuration management and automation tools (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, Chef, CloudFormation, SaltStack, Terraform)

    • Strong Linux system administration experience

    • Strong programming experience in at least one language (python, node, java, go, c/c++, ruby)

    • Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as ELK, DataDog or NewRelic, LogEntries, SumoLogic, etc.

    • Experience with Incident Management and crisis management

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of AWS and its associated technologies, both from DevOps and CloudOps perspective

    • Knowledge of Amazon ECS Cloud instances and configuration
