Position summary
Job Description:
The Global Banking Commercialization Manager is responsible for the management of the end to end commercialization lifecycle and launch plan to take a wide array of new / modified products to market. This role heavily partners across all areas of merchant, product, pricing, contracts, operations, sales, external partners, to ensure a comprehensive and seamless launch for our clients and sales partners. This role will specifically focus on the launch readiness of the Bank of American Merchant Services platform.
- Develop commercialization plans based on initial assessment and feedback from partners including pilot and incentive planning, communications and incremental launch / national launch plans.
- Partner with Global Banking sales & sales enablement to define the sales strategy utilizing the commercialization & pilot plans.
- Work directly with Product Owner to detail requirements needed and help with priority around technology delivery to align to the commercialization plan.
- Providing updates to leadership on launch progress, risks & issues.
- Represent Business and clearly speak to requirements in joint design sessions with Technology teams.
- Analyze data to detail potential client profile based on capabilities being delivered
- Review & define internal and external facing materials for new segments and products being launched.
- Participate in UAT testing for changes to support commercialization
- As a subject matter expert, partner with training partners to craft training sessions for sales teams ensuring client talking points, value prop, and materials are understood.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of merchant services industry/product knowledge
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams to deliver together in a highly complex organization; coordination and meeting facilitation skills are critical
- Commercialization / go to market experience with a heavy client and sales focus
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship & collaboration skills
- Exceptional critical thinking skills
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint
- Ability to make actionable recommendations based on information and judgment
