Job Description:
Loss Forecasting and Strategy Validation functional area within CCA Operation Enablement organization is looking for an energetic, analytical and attention to details strategy validation analyst. The Operation Enablement organization with its 300 professionals play a critical role in successfully providing credit assistance to our clients and mitigating potential credit losses. Collections and recovery strategies and their performance is critical to the success of our business. Monitoring, tracking and assessing the performance of our strategies is an important part of our process in mitigating risks associated with strategies and our operations.
This role is responsible to create, track, and monitor strategy performance metrics on a monthly basis. Organize and lead performance discussions with strategy analysts, strategy owners, and other stakeholders. Conduct analyses to ascertain key drivers of trends and provide business insights. Specific responsibilities include
1. Generate monthly monitoring and tracking (M&T) reports for strategies
2. Perform analyses related to strategy performance
3. Develop new SAS or SQL programs for M&T, and identify opportunities to improve existing M&T programming code
4. Adhere to strategy validation timeline
5. Partner with strategy analysts, strategy owners for strategy assessment
6. Organize and conduct monthly review meetings
Required Skills:
Working knowledge of SAS and SQL;
Working knowledge in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications;
Clear verbal and written communication style/skills,
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is critical. Must have exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills
Strong ability to work with people across multiple functional areas
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Desired Skills:
Degree in a quantitative field, such as Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Physics, and the alike
Previous Collections experience
Experience working with large amount of data and the applicable tools
2+ years industry experience, 2+ years of programming experience using SAS and/or SQL
