    Position summary

Whether it is the utilization of real-time payments with traditional credentials or the use of an alias with Zelle, consumers continue to look for choice and convenience when conducting their business. This combined with the continued need to move away from paper to digital payments makes a strong case for digital B2C products that enable safe, secure, and always on payments. This role will report to the head of US Payments and have specific responsibilities including:

    • Continuously evaluate the competitive landscape for the payments environment with a focus on B2C through regular engagement with other internal Lines of Business as well as external Networks and Industry Working Groups in support of the corporate instant payments landscape.

    • Develop commercial B2C strategy by evaluating existing assets and developing a roadmap that includes synergies, opportunities for streamlining, and recommendations on future product roadmap enhancements.

    • Assist with management of investment planning process across US Payments Products; including support of financial plans and forecasts by coordinating across individual product manager.

    • Work closely with the Global Payments, Enterprise Payments and Retail product teams to explore B2C/C2B use cases, develop the client pipeline and support client deals.

    • Develop commercialization strategy for both core offerings and B2C products to help drive growth and revenue.

    Job Requirements:

    • Minimum 8 years of banking experience in payments, with a strong preference for experience with risk management, product management, product development and/or financial management responsibilities

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

    • Demonstrated initiative, follow-through and the ability to work with limited supervision

    • Outstanding creative and analytical thinker

    • Ability to quickly learn core capabilities including end-to-end product value propositions and client buying behavior by different segments

    • Payments and/or transaction services experience

    • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

    • Strong presentation and communication skills

    Additional Preferred Skills:

    • Ability to work across multiple functional teams to set direction, enable sales activities / initiatives, drive and implement change, and solve problems

    • Familiarity with Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, and digital wallets

    • Pervious consulting experience
