Job Title: UK FICC Compliance and Operational Risk Manager

The UK FICC Global Compliance & Operational Risk team have are recruiting for a Compliance & Operational Risk Manager to join the London office. This role will help with either coverage of the Rates or Credit and Mortgages business lines in the UK (depending on experience of candidate). Rates and Credit are two of the main FICC business lines and so we require a permanent, full-time member of the team to help provide sufficient GCOR coverage to one of these business lines.
The successful candidate will require knowledge of FICC LOBs. As an experienced VP or Director, we would expect the candidate to have solid experience in LOB Compliance roles.
Overview of the Role:
This individual will help to deliver the Compliance and Operational Risk programme through:
Understanding the UK FICC business lines
Answering queries from the business
Reviewing new product reviews
Reviewing escalations of potential market abuse
Reviewing surveillance alerts
Reviewing transactions that have required escalation
Challenging operational loss events over USD100,000
The Team:
The individual will get to join the UK FICC GCOR team in London and be one of the experienced members of the team. The overall team will consist of 13 team members (once all open headcount hired). The team also work closely with the Electronic Trading GCOR team and Surveillance Strategy GCOR team in the region.
