L’activité de solutions de gestion des médicaments de BD combine une technologie éprouvée à des renseignements efficaces pour prévenir les erreurs en matière de médicaments, accroître l’efficacité des cliniciens, améliorer la prévisibilité de la disponibilité des médicaments et des fournitures et améliorer les rendements financiers de l’organisation. La gamme d’automatisation de pharmacie de solutions de gestion des médicaments de BD peut avoir une incidence positive sur la sécurité, l’efficacité et les coûts à presque toutes les étapes du processus de gestion de l’utilisation des médicaments ou de la chaîne d’approvisionnement.
Le directeur national des ventes sera responsable de stimuler les objectifs de revenu régionaux des solutions canadiennes de gestion des médicaments et d’augmenter la pénétration du marché dans les espaces de marché existants et nouveaux des pharmacies de détail, les pharmacies externes, les pharmacies à remplissage central et les pharmacies fermées de soins de longue durée. Il doit assurer le leadership de l’équipe et diriger la planification et l’exécution globales du processus de vente de BD. Il travaillera en étroite collaboration avec les équipes commerciales pour mettre en œuvre des stratégies de croissance en utilisant la méthodologie de vente de BD afin d’accélérer la croissance de la plateforme d’automatisation de pharmacie de solutions de gestion des médicaments. Il se concentrera principalement sur le perfectionnement des employés, l’exécution des processus et la planification stratégique afin d’assurer le succès des associés et de l’entreprise.

About the role:
The BD Medication Management Solutions business combines proven technology with impactful intelligence to prevent medication errors, improve clinician efficiency, increase predictability of medication and supply availability, and improve organizational financial performance. At almost every point in the medication use or supply chain management process, safety, efficiency, and costs can be favourably impacted with the BD Medication Management Solutions Pharmacy Automation portfolio.
The National Sales Manager will be accountable for driving the Canadian Medication Management Solutions regional revenue targets and for increasing market penetration in existing and new market spaces in retail, outpatient, central fill and long-term care closed door pharmacies. They will be expected to provide leadership to the team and to drive the overall planning and execution of BD’s sales process. They will work collaboratively with commercial teams to drive growth strategies utilizing BD’s sales methodology to accelerate the Medication Management Solutions Pharmacy Automation platform growth. They will have a key focus on people development, process execution and strategic planning to ensure associate and business success.
Key responsibilities include:
Direct people leadership responsibilities for the BD Medication Management Solutions Pharmacy Automation sales team in Canada
Drive sales effectiveness and competencies with sales team to build sales funnel and meet revenue and profit targets
Drive commercial intensity and develop sales territory assignments and revenue targets to ensure optimized use and deployment of talent and resources
Drive a consistent framework for funnel and opportunity management and revenue forecasting with sales team
In partnership with marketing, develop process for customer prospecting, lead generation and nurturing to build market awareness, new sales opportunities and sales funnel.
Works collaboratively with Marketing, Clinical and Technical teams to develop and communicate value proposition of BD Medication Management Solutions Pharmacy Automation portfolio.
Develop executive customer relationships to understand customer buying processes and customer key performance indicators that BD’s Pharmacy Automation portfolio can improve
Ability to coach the team on communicating and articulating BD’s value proposition and return on investment in capital automation to improve customer performance
Helps lead strategic territory and account planning process, executive presentations and contract negotiations
Develops a strong teamwork environment across the commercial organziation to work effectively with marketing, clinical, technical, implementation, RFP, contracts and business operations to deliver a consistent and differentiated customer experience.
Participates in the Medication Management Solutions annual strategic planning and budgeting processes
Develops and coaches talent within team and across the organization to build strong career blueprints and succession planning
Delivers results- accountable for metrics including revenue, margin and market share
Education and experience required:
Must be bilingual in French and English
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of proven experience in medical device sales ideally in a retail, outpatient or long-term care pharmacy environment
Experience with people leadership and leading teams
Experience with pharmacy automation and pharmacy information systems an asset
National field based role with up to 50% travel required, including nights and some weekends
Must have a valid driver’s license and 3 years of a clean driving record
