Position summary
Job Description Summary
• 4+ years of experience in working on relational database platform with emphasis on database code development.
• 4+ years of experience programming in C#. .net Core framework 3.1
Job Description
Education or Equivalent:
- BE/BTech/MCA/MTech degree or comparable demonstrated work experience.
Skill Set Required:
- Core Experience in MVC, C#, ASP .NET
- Excellent relational database experience and understanding of Data Warehousing/Data Modeling
- Knowledge of tools such as: the Microsoft BI Reporting and Analysis Tools including SSIS, SSRS and SSAS and visualization and data discovery tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlikview).
- Experience in creating shared libraries, tools, and frameworks on TFS API’s
- Knowledge of tools: Visual Studio, SQL Server management, TFS Power tools.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Advanced level of experience in writing stored procedures, reading query plans, tuning indexes and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks.
- Experience in design, development, and implementation of Dashboarding & Business Intelligence applications.
- Demonstrated knowledge of requirements gathering, software development methodologies and project documentation practices.
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent written and oral communications.
- Should be a quick learner and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently in a self-directed manner and collaboratively with team members (in person and remote)
Role and Responsibilities
- Create and manage:
- ETL systems for data warehouses & data marts which integrate multiple domains.
- Analytical (OLAP) cubes, complex SQL stored procedures and other database objects.
- Reporting Platform.
- Design, plan, and develop programs to optimally extract, transform and load data between data sources.
- Design .net applications/tools to support business needs.
- Responsible for overall development success (inclusive of peer/code reviews, adherence to corporate standards, build process guidelines, maintainability, unit tests) of the project.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in TFS administration
- Experience Rest API Implementation
- Experience in Azure DevOps administration
- Experience of using Azure VM, Compute, Storage, App Service, Logic App
- Rich experience in REST API programming/scripting to extract data from DOORS to MS Excel.
