    About the role

    The role of Market Access Manager is to support the Peripheral Interventions sales teams. This role will actively participate in Market access/shaping projects in the hospital sector to develop the market and ensure the teams can capitalise on maximising opportunities.

    The Market Access Manager will make customers and their needs a primary focus; developing and sustaining productive customer relationships, but balancing customers needs with business profitability. A key part of this role will be market analysis and a good, data based approach to providing market developing project outcomes The ability to clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups is paramount. Communication style must be in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.

    This person will identify and understand issues whilst spotting opportunities. They will be able to compare data from different sources to draw conclusions and use effective approaches to choose an appropriate course of action or solutions in a timely manner. The Market Access Manager will establish courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed and project managed efficiently and within budget.

    This is a remote role within the UK, with occasional travel.

    Main responsibilities will include:

    • Key contact person for product questions and product information
    • Support and champion the use of the HEOR tools available
    • Market development around the Peripheral Interventions strategic pillars
    • Assist Sales Director with in forming strategic and tactical activities whilst considering the patient experience. Assist Sales Managers in information collection for tender documentation
    • Work closely with Product and Digital Access Manager on PI and omnichannel campaigns
    • Attend local sales meetings and provide product, market development and strategy presentations
    • Identify knowledge gaps and provide training accordingly
    • Co-travel with representatives to understand markets and customer opinion
    • Develop suitable materials and conduct market development campaigns
    • Develop relationships with regional KOL’s and scientific communities/associations
    • Plan participation and attend congresses, workshops and programmes, participate in events and trainings, supervise ROI on these investments, build and develop local training centres
    • Optimise the professional education programme and include as part of the KOL strategy
    • Lead projects to engage with senior clinical stakeholders to develop key market segments and drive/support relationships with local champions of all fields
    • Guide and upskill the sales team in the production of customer specific cases and value based propositions for the portfolio, using HEOR models, value based procurement tools and other evidence and data
    • Work with the Health Economist and CHS team on value based marketing/selling and tools.
    • Lead on relationship with regional Key Opinion Leaders and scientific communities/associations such as NICE and ABHI working groups
    • Be accountable for the successful utilisation of MA projects and in steering the adoption at a policy and local level
    • Run submissions through Veeva Vault for internal approval

    Serve as in-country contact for the divisions to manage:-

    • Market development
    • Demand and supply
    • Communications and requests from EMEA Marketing
    • Local needs to develop local product knowledge and in Country product and clinical training
    • Competitive intelligence
    • Market trends and forecast market demand
    • Identify potential candidates for KOL development

    Forecasting

    • Respond to sensitivity reports from Olen (European Distribution Centre)
    • Assist/support sales Management with the budgeting process
    • Provide validated, country specific data for NPOAs in collaboration with local Sales Managers

    About you

    • A background in Radiology/Radiography desirable
    • Bachelors degree in business (or equivalent)/ MBA with an emphasis on marketing or related field or a combination of experience and education is desirable.
    • Demonstrable marketing or product management experience in a business to business environment or solid sales experience within Medical Devices industry ideally including capital equipment combined with technical/product/educational skills
    • Ability to build success measurement tools, analyse results and effectively communicate results to Management on individual projects
    • Sound project management skill and used to managing multi-stakeholders
    • Demonstrable experience in key customer and KOL development
