Job Description
- Technical advice and support for material and product quality from suppliers.
- Lead supplier approval process by assessing supplier’s quality management systems,
manufacturing and process capabilities and related Environmental, Health and Safety risk. - Coordinate supplier and plant initiated component or process changes to ensure appropriate
verification and approvals. - Facilitate root cause and failure analysis and implementation of corrective actions of supplier
quality challenges. - Identify and qualify alternate suppliers or materials.
- Monitor and report key supplier metrics on quality, delivery and cost.
- Drive waste elimination and continuous improvements at supplier facilities.
- Drive ‘Zero Defect’ mentality within supplier.
- Other assignments as instructed by immediate Supervisor
