Role Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

These are the essential functions of the position.

• Must maintain a consistent flow of palletized cases.  This includes operation of the automatic palletizers, clear obstructions in the event of a jam and physically palletizes cases if needed.  Must trouble shoot palletizer operation and stretch wrappers as well as maintaining all equipment.  Must be able to perform minor equipment changes and adjustments.
• Must maintain departmental quality standards for shipment, as well as maintain adherence to production scheduling and departmental/equipment cleanliness.
• Must adhere to all safety requirements, to include the wearing of PPE.
• Follows job safety and environmental requirements and communicates concerns to immediate supervisor.
• Follows all Food Safety, 5S and ISO guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Others duties as assigned.

2nd or 3rd shift

Starting Pay: $22.57/hour 

Qualifications & Experience

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have an average to above average work record, i.e., job performance, safety, attendance, etc.  (Employees with documented problems which relate to success in this position may be disqualified.)
• Be able to read English with understanding.
• Have acceptable (or corrected) visual acuity and depth perception.  Will be required to take and pass an eye examination.
• Will be required to satisfactorily operate a forklift and pass the Forklift Safety Driving Program.
• Have demonstrated mechanical and problem solving skills.  Will be required to take and pass skills tests.
• Be able to perform the physical requirements and manual dexterity of the palletizer duties.
• Be able to work any shift.
• Be able to work in a team environment.
