Quality Engineer  

The following position is open in Clermont Kentucky, United States.

Role Responsibilities

• Highly motivated individual who can operate independently
• Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of all incoming material procedures/processes
• Responsible for following all ISO 9001/22000 standards for the site to ensure that certification is maintained
• Promotes quality, environmental, health and safety achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
• Promotes the ownership of quality to the employees performing activities within production
• Participates in global work teams
• Monitors performance by gathering and analyzing relevant data
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ensures quality procedures, work instructions and associated documentation are properly developed, reviewed, implemented and updated
• Reviews all packaging quality equipment needs and responsible for overseeing all maintenance/calibration are carried out to ensure we are meeting our compliance to standards
• Responsible for ensuring timely completion/investigation of all supplier quality issues
• Working with the suppliers to build continuous improvement initiatives to support the production needs
• Follows Continuous Improvement methodologies

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years applicable production/quality experience within the last 10 years

• Experience in the ISO 9001/22000 standard

• Demonstrate the ability to conduct independent research and provide written reports & analysis based on that research

• Demonstrate the ability to use problem solving/root cause analysis tools

• Good communication skills including presentations, negotiations, meeting facilitation and producing written documents

• Excellent working knowledge of the TTB regulations

• Must be a progressive leader and problem solver

• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail under limited supervision and within established time frames

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively and diplomatically with company personnel at all levels of management with demonstrated leadership

• Ability and proven experience in utilizing PC and software used by the operating unit

• Must be willing and able to taste alcoholic beverages
